ABOUT OUR CAST STONE… All stone products made by Ancient Excavation are actually “cast stone”, which is a gypsum cement product called Dhrystone. The product contains limestone, aggregate and some mason’s sand. CUSTOM WORK… We create originals in wood, clay bronze or Dhrystone to suit any style or period to your specification. Provide drawings or pictures to completely custom items. We also duplicate or re-create. COLOURS AND TEXTURES… We do not use paint or chemicals to apply colour to our sculptures, we use a unique technique, which resembles timeless beauty and elegance. This is why no two pieces are exactly alike.
