PYROPLAST FOR CABLES PROTECTION. Pyroplast is a waterborne in tumescent coating for the fire protection of electrical cables. Pyroplast is suitable for single or multiple cables with or without cable trays. Pyroplast is easily applied by Brush or Airless Spray in single coat remains flexible to allow cable movement. When exposed to hear or fire Pyroplast expands to from a micro porous in tumescent Foam layer with low thermal conductivity which protects the cable. In tests in accordance with DIN ***2 Pyroplast was found to increase the fire survival of the tested cables from 3.7 to *9.7 minutes.
