The commonly additivesused in Paints and coatings have wollastonite powder, silicon dry soil, quartz powder, mica powder, talc powder , glass beads, kaolin, silica, precipitated barium sulfate, heavy carbonate, light calcium,etc.The majority of these materials through the crushed into powder, part of them made by chemical precipitation, most of them are amorphous structure and difficult to disperse in paints and coatings. The product have bad thixotropy and easy to precipitate, easy caking , usually, by added expensively modified bentonite to adjust the thixotropy of the paint, on order to prevent pigment sinking and caking when stored.

Features of our silica powder
(1)Our silica powder adopted the domestic unique high-quality quartz powder, gained by wet processing. Microcosmic particles are spherical, SiO2 content ≥ *9.*0%, does not contain any heavy metals and radioactive elements, its excellent performance completely different from the ordinary micro silica powder.
(2) Ideal for high-end filler of paints and coatings for properties of low impurity, high fineness ,high hardness, strong adhesion, high resistivity, good suspension performance, acidproof and alkaliproof.
(3)Water absorption much lower than general clay minerals, such as calcium carbonate, kaolin, talc, etc.Oil absorption rate and other index have more competitive advantage.
(4)Due to the unique particles microscopic morphology, our powder have good compatibility in the resin or sol system and have a low viscosity, thus making the system has a good dispersibility, suspension and good anti-settling properties, which superior to the traditional barium sulfate powder.
