REDCEM

REDCEM IS A PREMIUM GENERAL PURPOSE CEMENT THAT IS IDEAL FOR GENERAL BUILDING OPERATIONS, STRUCTURAL CONCRETE AND THE MANUFACTURE OF CEMENT-BASED PRODUCTS

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

REDCEM, is a general purpose cement. It is made from high quality raw materials. Clinker is interground with gypsum and an appropriate amount of extender.

APPLICATIONS

REDCEM, is a general purpose cement. Typical applications are concrete, mortar, plaster, masonry products, paving, precast products, grouts, shotcrete, soil stabilization and other general home and DIY applications. REDCEM is a tried and tested product that has been engineered to achieve a consistent and appropriate performance. The cost of REDCEM has been optimized for a broad range of applications, whilst maintaining the appropriate levels of quality.

REDCEM is compatible with commercial chemical admixtures.

SPECIFICATIONS

• REDCEM conforms to the *2,5 R strength class of EN****1 for common cements and is identified as:
  Cement CEM II/B-M (L-S) *2,5RWhere &#x**1c;M&#x**1d; represents a composite cement consisting of limestone (&#x**1c;L&#x**1d;) and Corex Slag (&#x**1c;S&#x**1d;). &#x**1c;B&#x**1d; indicates a mixture content between *1 and *5%.
• Cement CEM II/B-L *2,5R
  Where &#x**1c;L&#x**1d; represents Limestone, and &#x**1c;B&#x**1d; indicates a mixture content between *1 and *5%.
• Cement CEM II/B-V *2,5R
  Where &#x**1c;V&#x**1d; represents silicious fly ash, and &#x**1c;B&#x**1d; indicates a mixture content between *1 and *5%.
• Cement CEM II/A-L *2,5R
  Where &#x**1c;L&#x**1d; represents Limestone, and &#x**1c;A&#x**1d; indicates a maximum limestone content of *0%.
• Cement CEM II/A-S *2,5R
  Where &#x**1c;S&#x**1d; represents a Slag content of less than *0%.

STORAGE

Bulk storage silos should be inspected on a regular basis to ensure that the inspection hatch seal is watertight and filters are clean and unblocked. Cement bags are not weatherproof and should be stored undercover, off the ground to a maximum height of *2 bags.
