GRAVITY MODULBLOCK WITH NECK HANDLING BOTTLE
TRANSFER
The MODULBLOCK unites all the single treatment fixed-nozzle
rinsing functions, the gravity filling operations and capsuling
with plastic screw caps in one machine. It is suitable for bottling
P.E.T. containers.

The machine is complete with:
- Equipment for one neck diameter.
- Stainless steel cupboard with electric control
board.
- Motorization by asynchronous three-phase motor with
inverter.
- Electrical adjustment on rinser, filler and capper
controlled by the PLC.
- Filling level which can be regulated by inserting
appropriate plates on taps.
- Stainless steel support structure. Complete support
protection casings in AISI **4 stainless steel with bolt
locking.
- Tanks, taps and all parts in contact with the product
completely in stainless steel AISI **4.
- Neck handling star support in AISI **4 stainless
steel.
- Protection with window-type openings, made up of a
boxed supporting frame in AISI **4 stainless steel and transparent
polycarbonate.
- All sealings and parts in plastic which touch the
product are of materials in accordance to existing directives on
the subject.
- The support rests on feet which can be regulated with
high resistance steel screws and under screws.
- Stainless steel belt with steel chain with entry and
exit at opposite ends of machine.
The ROTATING RINSING TURRET WITH *0 GRIPPERS and fixed
nozzle for single treatment carries out a completely automatic
internal cleaning of new bottles.
- The gripper picks up the bottle at the neck level from
the neck entry star and turns it over completely to centre it
perfectly on the rinsing nozzle.
- The nozzle spry water into the bottle.
- The gripper then turns the bottle over once again and
places it on the exit star.
The rinsing tower is equipped with the following
features:
- The tower is entirely built in antioxidant and self
lubricating materials and steel.
- The distribution station is fitted with a blocking
device in case the bottles or containers are not present.
- The treatment times can be adjusted.
- The gripper jaws are made with bottle holding pads
shaped according to the bottle profile or to that of the container
to be treated.
- The bottle is equiped with a non bottle no spry
system.
FILLER TURRET WITH *2 FILLING VALVES operates with gravity
method with regulating of the levels from the neck level of the
bottle.
The filling machine operation is briefly described as
follows:
- The bottles are transferred from the rinser to the
filler by a neck transfer star and positioned on the neck handling
support. The filling valve move down and enter in to the bottle
neck opening. This is mechanically controlled to block the filling
valve in the filling position and to seal the neck on the tap
opening to guarantee a perfect sealing.
- The filling valve, moving down, open automatically and
the water start to flow.
- Once the desired level is reached the water flow
stop.
- Once filled, the filling valve move up by a cam control
and returns to the initial bottle collecting position.
- Then the bottles are transferred from the filler to the
capsuling turret by a neck transfer star and positioned on the
capsuling neck handling support.
The filling machine is fitted with numerous technical ploys
to obtain a good production, constrained overall dimensions,
easy maintenance and fast size change:
- The tank is entirely in AISI **4 stainless
steel and contains minimum and maximum probes or cocks
(according to the product) which are regulated by a pneumatic
stainless steel valve.
- The filling valve, even at high speed, ensures the lack
of product loss. The filling level is easy to regulate.
- The particular turn-table construction, the positioning
of the feet for regulating the height of the machine and the
central column which ensures the stability of the tanks which is
also adjustable in height, have been carefully studied, in
accordance to outstanding norms, to guarantee easier
intervention to those parts which are normally more difficult to
reach.
- The valves are easily sterilisable.
- The filling valve movement are mechanically controlled
with spring pushing and cam return.

Equipped with:
- Automatic centrifugal sorter, made of AISI **4
stainless steel, equipped with cap level monitoring device.
- Chute, made of AISI **4 stainless steel, equipped with
electronic cap-presence monitoring device.
- Pick & Place device, made of AISI **4 stainless
steel, to transfer caps from the chute to the closing heads.
- PK **0 screwing heads, with a positive gripping chuck,
magnetic clutch and optical reading of the set static torque. The
closing heads assure highly reliable torque values due to their
reduced inertial mass during rotation.
- Bottle neck supports to firmly hold the containers
during screw-capping and to prevent them from being crushed; a
solid outer guide in stainless steel, anchored to the capping
machine's support structure by means of stainless steel columns,
keeps the bottles correctly positioned inside the neck
supports.
- Control cam for head pistons, made of hardened steel,
to protect against deformation.
- Central sliding bush made of stainless steel to be
installed onto central shaft (upper part).
