Properties Relativedensity is 1.*2~1.*0g/cm3, soluble in alcohol, acetone and benzene,slightlysoluble in carbon tetrachloride. It is stable in open air.
Applications It acts as middle-speed accelerator, suitable for natural and synthetic rubber, and also can be used as activator for kinds of thiazole, thiuram and sulfenamide. It acts as plasticizer and plastic-divider on chloroprene rubber, especially suitable for rubber products such as tire, rubber shoes, and so on. DPG is regulated for use in articles in contact with food as specified under FDA *1 CFR**7.***0 and under BgVV XXI, Categories **4.
