Connect a jump cable from LNB to satellite finder’s “Satellite” port. Connect the “Receiver” port, a DC *3—*8V power which comes from satellite receiver 2. Make sure that satellite finder is properly connected. Plug in the AC cord and turn on the satellite receiver. 3. Set the dB to be one or 2 by ATT , then signal LED will show from *5 to *0, then you can adjust the dish position, when you hear the buzzer alert and the value of signal strength will be more and more, that means you get the satellite signal. 4. Set the dB to be 3 or 4, adjust the dish again and again until the value of signal strength is maximum, now you can see the LOCK light in the satellite receiver, if the Lock light is lighting, that mean you find the desired satellite. Otherwise you need to adjust the dish again. Important Notes： 1. Do not place the satellite finder in front of dish. 2. When using high gain LNB, gain that higher than *0dB, insert a 5 dB attenuator between LNB and satellite finder, or replace the jump cable to be a *0ft RG**9U 3. The max length for cable from dish to satellite finder is 5 meters
