Description
Simple to use, low cost, industrial specification desk top SCARA robot. The ALLY robot is *0% of the price of similar specification robots but is built using top quality components and has exceptional accuracy and reliability. 
The unique drive system of the ALLY allows the backlash free, precision control of joints without the need for expensive and complex gearing. Using Brushless DC motors to give excellent power to weight and industrial longevity, the high precision absolute encoders give exacting position information that give the ALLY much better accuracy and repeatability than many competitors.
The control system is integrated into the back of the robot arm itself simplifying installation. The robot just requires a low amperage single phase supply. The robot is then programmed by a PC using our FLX.IDE software. This is both easy to use and very powerful and can control several ALLY robots together. The full software is free to try, just call or email us. It includes a simple interface that can cope with complex tasks, a Javascript editor for full programming control, a resource import facility so that complex data such as G-code, gerber, eagle, dxf etc can be easily loaded into the workspace. This makes one off manufacture, CAD-CAM and flexible working simple. 
We have developed modular tool heads that simply "click to fit" the ALLY robot. This means the robot can be applied to a range of jobs quickly and simply. Having the ability to tool change the robot can automatically select end effectors allowing fast, flexible and continuous manufacture. Several tool heads are available "off the peg" saving you time and cost developing and manufacturing specialised tooling.
