There are two types of Self-adhesive membrane, ***** one with fabric and one without fabric. Self-adhesive membrane without fabric is made after asphalt is modified by the use of polymer such as rubber as modifier. It has two functions, waterproof and seal and in addition has function of adhesion. The material has good self-adhesion, high coefficient of elongation and can be well healed up by itself when stabbed and used when cold working. The other combination of self-adhesive membrane with fabric is basically the same as modified asphalt apart from modified asphalt being self-adhesive glue. This product is multi-function top grade material of modified asphalt waterproof membrane. It can be used when cold working and is waterproof and seals up well with self-adhesion and self-healing. Product features 1. It is suitable for waterproof works that is easy to deform such as building roofs, underground, structures, pipeline. 2. Self-adhesive membrane covered with ethane film fine sand on the upper surface is suitable for non-exterior exposure waterproof works. 3. Self-adhesive membrane covered with aluminium foil on the upper surface is suitable for exterior exposure waterproof works. 4. Self-adhesive membrane without film and without fabric at both sides and self-adhesive membrane with polyester felt basement fabric in 1.5mm thickness are suitable for auxiliary waterproof works.
