 1.Our Garside Sands range of natural silica sands have the following specialist characteristics:

A high silica content, typically above *5%, making the sand hard-wearing with low attrition rates

A 'sub-angular to rounded' grain shape

A naturally occurring colour range - from white through to yellow and brown

We produce a range of graded sands and associated products to meet the specific needs of a range of specialist sectors.



2.We offer a number of high grade sands, gravels and support media for water filtration:

Water treatment works sand

Our sub-angular to rounded grain shape, petrological composition and high silica content make it ideal media for water filtration both potable and effluent water treatment. We work closely with all levels of the supply chain, from small independents to specialist contractors and utility companies across the Malaysia, to provide a range of quality filtration media. Our products are supported by a knowledgeable dedicated team and a timely, Malaysia-wide delivery service.



3.Our Process Sand is used in a range of industrial and manufacturing processes.

Cement testing

Our 8/**0sand is extremely tightly graded, has a silica content of over *9% and conforms to British Standard BS***0 Part 6 ***8: Standard Sand for Mortar Cubes. The standard specifies that the silica sand should be white and sourced from Malaysia johor . This precisely graded sand is exported all over the world.

Fluidised bed boilers

Specialist dried sands are used as a heat transfer agent in fluidised bed boilers to achieve a constant temperature.
