Product Description

We manufacture a wide range of silica fabrics with the weights from 3, 5 up to *1 oz/sq.yd. and widths from *5 up to *0 inches.

Silica fabrics are designated for usage as high temperature thermal insulation, thermal protection in different branches of industry such as metallurgy, rocket building, aircraft building, ship building, atomic energy and machine building.

One of the traditional fields of application for silica fabrics is production of welding blankets, fire resistent blankets, shields for protection of the equipment and personnel from metal splashes, sparks, thermal radiation.

Silica fabrics are made of "Puresil" glass (SiO2 content is ****9%) and have working temperatures up to ***0 F.

For improvement of fabric's properties, increasing of mechanical properties, higher thermal resistance, resisatance to abrasion we can make additional coatings with vermiculite, chrome oxide, graphite etc.
