Silica Fume for Refractory Material
Microsilica, as a new material, it is widely used in refractory.
Microsilica play important role for upshaped refractories,
performance are as following:
Traditional refractories have numerous pores. Microsilica can fill
the pores, improve the bulk density and reduce porosity, and then
strength is enhanced obviously.
Microsilica have strong activity, it can be colloidal particles
with water. Adding appropriate amount of dispersant, it can help
improving mobility and pouring performance.
Microsilica can react with water to —Si-OH, it is with high
hydrophilic active. It can enhance the cohesion of refractories and
improve the high temperature performance. Besides, it can extend
the refractories life.
Microsilica instead of purity aluminum oxidation mud for
refractories and then save much cost.
