The functional principle is: in real time detect a load current waveform to find its harmonic current, then control IGBT triggering to inject direction-opposite equivalent current into power supply system, to achieve to filter off (offset) the harmonic, dynamically compensate.systemic reactive power and suppress voltage fluctuations and flicker, suppress resonance, and improve power factor and other functions, so as to improve the security of the power supply system and achieve the purpose of energy saving.
 
PSPP internal control principleis: Aftercircuit breaker closing, PSPP firstly charge the DC bus capacitor by a pre-charge resistor, to prevent instant impact on the capacitor after power on. 8 seconds later, when the bus voltage Vdc reaching the rating, the master contactor is closed.
 
DC capacitor is an energy storage component, externally energizing to output compensation current via IGBT inverter and internal reactor, also internally energizing as a working power supply to internal detection and control panels through power exchange board.
 
SNTA***8 PSPP series through external CT collect current signal and send to a harmonic detection module, to separate from fundamental wave; then send the harmonic to a detection module to compare such harmonic with the compensation current that PSPP outputs, the difference as a real-time compensation signal to be output to the drive circuit. Based on such signal, PSPP injects a compensation current into the grid to filter harmonic out.
