Additional uses include wall cladding and bathroom/wardrobe partitions. Acrylic and quartz surfacing products provide a highly functional, durable, stain resistant, easy to clean and repairable surface that require little or no maintenance. These products are also nonporous, so bacteria, mold and moisture cannot penetrate the surface. This added hygienic property allows these products to be used in certain hospital and commercial food preparation applications where other competing materials are restricted or prohibited.
