Standard Lecithin
Standard lecithin is a naturally occurring mixture of phospholipids combined with smaller amounts of other lipids. Standard lecithin are stable, easy-to-handle fluid blends of natural phospholipids and vegetable oils standardized to offer the highest quality.
Lecithin is primarily used as an emulsifier to help maintain a stable emulsion between unmixable liquids. The emulsifier decreases the surface tension between the liquids and allows them to form a stable blend.
