Repair Clamp. Bolt/Weld it on line temporarily or permanently, the
TSS Leak Repair Clamp is a solid, reliable solution that provides
you the quick repair option with the TSS quality name.
A p p l i c a t i o n s :
Permanent or temporary pipe leak repair for hydrocarbon,
steam, petrochemical,oil and cross-country pipelines.
F e a t u r e s & B e n e f i t s :
Standard:
• Designed per China National Standard GB-T *********1(equal
to section 5 and *2 of API 6H.)
• Single piece molded seal fixed in wedge lock grooves for
each half of clamp for peripheral and lateral sealing.
• Easily replaceable seal without special tools or grinding
needed.
• Seal length: Standard *-inches (*- to **-inches); *-inches
(from **-to **-inches)
• Buna-N, Teflon and silicon rubber optional seal
materials.
• Temperature ranges from **0 deg C to **0 deg C. Pressure
range from *****0 psi.
• Hinge and rod assembly are provided as per client's
request.
• Lifting lugs are provided on clamp sizes **-iches and larger
for easy installation.
• Relief plug connection of 1/*-inch NPT.
• Heat insulating cord (parallel to seal) facilitates welding
of sleeves to pipe and protects seal if clients require.
• Hydrotesting at 1.5 times of design pressures at factory
prior to shipping.
• High temperature and low temperature applications are

• Medium-yield steel, high-yield steel and other material
available upon request. Normally the clamps material is ASTM

The TSS Repair Clamp is a split sleeve, which fits around the
damaged area of a pipeline and can be bolted on the line. The quick
opening, hinged closure makes the repairs easier to conduct.

Studs: ASME SA**3 Grade B7 - Nuts: ASME SA**4 Grade 2H
Note 1: The torque values listed are residual torque value.
This is the torque value and residual stress after bolt relaxation.
The studs and nuts must be clean, free running, free of obvious
flaws. The values listed assume that the nuts are properly
lubricated with a lubricant having an approximate coefficient of
friction (µ) 0.*5 or k factor of 0.*9 such as light weight machine
oil.
Note 2: The second number is the pitch, which is shown in
number of threads per inch.
Note 3: Use the pre-stress value shown for the applicable stud
size if bolt tensioners are to be used, and follow the bolt
tensioner manufacturers instructions.
Note 4: This chart is also to be used for all PTFE (Teflon)
coated studs.
