Product Description

The SPM Basic mattress offers a first step in decubitus prevention treatment as it consists of foam with a density of either *2 kg/m3 foam – model A – or *2 kg/m3 foam – model B and cuttings over the full width of the mattress. Thus creating blocks resulting in a very flexible mattress with pressure relieving features and air passages for reducing perspiration. The width of the blocks varies in accordance with the anatomical structure of the body. A range of covers is available but a PU coated cover impermeable to fluids but allowing air to pass through is recommended as it contributes in an optimal way to the prevention. Furthermore the breathable covers are antibacterial and provided with a zipper. Both sides of the mattress can be used increasing longevity. Standard sizes are: **0 x *0 x *4 cm but other sizes can be made on request.
