1.Structure
It's a new kind of high density polyethylene pipe which is
reinforced by a steel wire mesh skeleton.The manufacturing process
is use spot welding crossing steel wire to make it a net-cylinder
structure as reinforcing part and continuously extrude HDPE as the
stuffing material to this structure on producing line at the same
time, just like reinforced concrete structure.
This combination makes the pipe far stronger than standard HDPE
pipe and more flexible and corrosion-resistant than steel pipe.
Many of its inherent characteristics are far superior to those of
HDPE or steel pipe.
2. Material
The stuffing material of steel reinforced HDPE pipe and fitting is
PE *0 (piping class), and we use high quality low-carbon steel
wire as the reinforcing part of pipe and Q**5 steel sheet for
fitting.
3.Characteristics
a. Excellent corrosion resistance
As generally acknowledged anti-corrosion material, PE has excellent
corrosion resistance to nearly **5 kinds of corrosive medium, such
as non-oxidizing acids, alkali and saline solutions.
b.Super hydraulic performance
The absolute roughness jus is 0.*1mm only, but the steel pipe is
0.2mm, so the flow resistance is small and the conveying capacity
is obviously higher than the steel pipe under the same
condition.
c.Good flexibility and anti-seismic property
The steel framed reinforced PE composite pipe has moderate elastic
modulus, so it has excellent adaptability to the nonuniform
settlement foundation and ground displacement. The good
anti-seismic performance will maximum reduce the cost of losses
when earthquake happen.
d.Lighter weight and easier installation
The density of steel framed reinforced PE composite pipe account
for *0% of steel pipe, we don't need the lifting equipment on site
when we install small caliber pipe and save bend fitting cause the
pipe laying will follow the topography to the general undulating
land. And the requirements of trench digging is less than steel
pipe.
e.Super abrasion resistance
Generally, the abrasion property of polyethylene is super than
normal metal material and this dedicates the abrasion resistance
feature of steel framed reinforced PE composite pipe is exactly
better than normal steel pipe.
f.Excellent heat preservation property
The basic stuffing material of steel framed reinforced PE composite
pipe is polyethylene, so the Thermal conductivity coefficient of PE
is 0.*3W/m℃,and the steel pipe is 2.5 W/m℃, nearly to 1.7%,
so the hear preservation property is very good, and don't need any
heat-insulation treatment even overhead in the fields of no
temperature requirements.
g.Outstanding hygienic character
PE material is nontoxic, this is a common sense to all of us and
being widely used in food industry . The steel framed reinforced PE
composite pipe use PE as basic stuffing material have passed each
test of the National Preventive Medical Association and get the
Healthy Permit for portable water conveying, and our pipe can meet
the requirements of Food Hygiene Law and Healthy Evaluation. And
the same time, the inner surface of our pipe is bacteria free and
electrochemistry corrosion free, no secondary pollution.
h.Working lifetime is longer and comprehensive cost is lower
The features of PE material ensure working lifetime of steel framed
reinforced PE composite pipe is much longer and comprehensive cost
much lower than normal steel pipe in the fields of conveying
corrosive medium.
