Cast steel angular grit is produced by crushing specially heat treated shot pellets. Its behavior characteristics in service are very much dependent upon the hardness of selection of GP, GB, GL, GH, or GR grit. The grit is produced in Bedford, VA, USA. Steel grit is suited for abrasive blasting in decaling and surface preparation applications. The still has fast, effective, etching action and is very aggressive and durable.
