Stellite is a kind of surfacing electrode with the welding core of continuous casting production of tungsten cobalt chromium alloy rods, which is  titanium calcium coating type. AC/DC, approprite DC reverse connection, and electrode to the positive. Arc stability, good slag coverage ang beautiful shape. Hardfacing layer has good abrasion resistance, heat resistance and corrosion resistance.  It can also keep a good feature umder the high temperature to **0 ºC. Although Stellite *2 has only a moderate hardness in cobalt base alloy, but contain higher tungsten content, therefore, high temperature grain abrasion resistant performance is stronger. Surfacing layer can be machined, Microstructure is  solid solution containing tungsten, chromium and solid solution of chromium and tungsten composite eutectic carbide.
Usage: Used for high temperature and high pressure valves, the internal combustion engine valve, blankets, plastic, paper and many kinds of the blade on the chemical industry and hot finishing pass surfacing electrode.

Note: 1. Electrode welding must be baked under the temperature around **0 ºC for 1 hour before welding; 
           2. Appropriate small current, short arc welding, to avoid increasing penetration of parent metal and reducing the performance of surfacing welding alloy;
           3. According to the types of parent material and size of workpiece, choosing ******0 ºC preheat temperature and **0 ºC interlayer temperature for surfacing welding;
           4. According to the working conditions, generally choosing ******0 ºC, heat preservation for 1 to 2 hours and then slow cooling furnace, or putting the workpiece under dry and hot sand cylinder or pulverin and then slowly cool.
