Product Description

Benzoin siam resin is a valuable ingredient in the perfume and
medical industry and in medicine.

Benzoin siam is extracted from the benzoin tree, scientifically
known as Styrax tonkenensis. In Vietnam, there are 4 types of
benzoin: Styrax tonkinensis Pierre, Styrax benzoin Dryand, Styrax
agrestis G. Don, Styrax annamensis Guill in which Styrax
tonkenensis is the most common, producing the most
resin.

Benzoin resin consists of more than *0 compounds, of which: - Free
benzonic acid: *6.*3% - Vanilin: 1.*8% - Benzyl benzoate:
4.*4%

Uses:

- Used as a raw material for high-end perfumes industry which helps
preserve the fragrance for a long time.

- Used as raw materials for the production of
cosmetics

- The pleasant fragrance of benzoin siam resin helps to relax the
mind, reduce fatigue and stress, stimulate the working
spirit.

- In medicine, benzoin resin is used to treat cough, loosen phlegm,
cold sore throat.

We choose a tree that is ***0 years old to exploit the resin: cut
into the trunk and branches to get the resin, let it dry naturally
before collecting. We harvest benzoin saim resin in the end of fall
or in the winter.
