Synthetic, absorbable, multifilament braided suture, in a violet color or undyed.
Made of a copolymer of glycolide and L-latide poly(glycolide-co-L-lactide)
The tisssue reactivity in microscope form is minimal.
Absorption occurs through progressive hygrolytic action; Completed between *6 and *0 days.
The material retains approximately *5% if its tensile strength by the end of two weeks, and *0% to *0% by the third week.
Color code: Violet label.
Frequently used for tissue coaptation and ophthalmic prodecures.

Indications:
It is indicated in all surgical procedures, soft tissues and/or ligatures. These include: General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Obsterrics, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedics and Ophthalmic.
Caution must be taken when used in eldery, malmiourished or immunologically defecient patients, in which the cruitical critical cicatrization period of the wound may be delayed.
