Working Principles Swingfog® thermal aerosol fog generators are gasoline (unleaded or leaded) driven and work according to the SWINGFIRE® principle developed by Motan nearly *0 years ago. A fuel/air mixture from the carburetor is ignited in the combustion chamber, and the resulting deflagrations oscillate a column of gas in the resonator pipe between *0 and **0 times per second. The solution is injected into the hot air stream at the end of the fogging tube and is dispersed into the finest aerosol droplets and distributed into an extensive, dense fog. Chemical solution and fuel are conveyed by a small overpressure in their respective tanks. With the exception of the pulsing diaphragm, the system has no mechanical moving parts, and therefore no wear and tear. The pulsing diaphragm is used to supply the overpressure to the tanks. Electric energy is merely consumed at the start of the pulse engine for the initial spark, and is supplied by four standard D cell batteries. The Technique The Swingfog® SN *0 is our lightest portable thermal aerosol fog generator. The power of the combustion chamber is more than *5 HP which makes it possible to apply oil based, water based, and wettable powder based chemicals in an equivalent droplet spectrum. The thermo-pneumatically produced fog guarantees a very high efficiency and excellent penetration. The Advantage With a minimum quantity of chemical preparation, an optimal effect and coverage is achieved. In comparison with conventional methods, Swingfog® thermal aerosol fogging equipment achieves approximately *0% labor savings when treating small and large areas. There is no soil contamination by dripping losses and any chemical residues are reduced more rapidly. The Swingfog® technique provides a valuable contribution to the protection of the environment. By means of various nozzles either the ULV (Ultra Low Volume) or the LV (Low Volume) application can be employed. No other thermal aerosol fog generator enjoys such worldwide acclaim.
