TGSS Series Drag Chain Conveyor:

Principle

- TGSS series Chain Conveyor is one of the most economical means for granular or pulverulent products handling. The head is in steel plate highly thickened with level detector. The casing is built in bolted elements with demountable bottom. The tail has a complete chain tension system by means of screw turnbuckles acting on mobile supports. The finned chain is in treated steel with high resistance. The finned chain guide is in plastic material, anti-wear easy demountable.

- Conveyor is built with single, double or for intake pit. Upon request, it can be self-cleaned with product recovery cups and brushes for chain cleaning.

- The chain is driven by gear motor and gets the material together which is fed from the inlets and the materials then are discharged from the outlet.

Features

- Advanced design and excellent fabricating.

- Both sides of chain conveyor and the bottom of the conveyor is **-Mn steel plate. The slide orbit is made from polyester materials which makes a less grain break. Both of the head and tail sprockets are specially quenched and anti-wear.

- Casings (including drive and tail sections) are of flanged, carbon steel construction with marine painted. All flanged connections are assembled with jointing strips and rubber gaskets to ensure dust and watertight control.

The chains are made of hardened carbon steel. Drive sprockets and tail sprockets are of hardened carbon steel. Bearings of the drive sprocket shaft and return shaft are of double row spherical ball-bearing type, self-alignment, dust sealed, and have grease lubrication.

- All drag conveyors are equipped with a flow inspection door on the head and tail section. Top covers are bolted for easy removal, dust and water tight and are suitable outdoor installation.

- Equipped with overflow gate and limit switch. The overflow gate is mounted on the casing to avoid the damage of equipment. An explosion relief panel is located at the head section of the machine.

- Operated continually under full load condition. Can avoid accumulation of product and minimize the breakage of grain.
- The chains rails are provided with carbon steel lined with wear-resistant materials, and are bolted to the conveyor casing.

Application

- Widely applied in the wheat, rice, oil seeds or other grain silo storage transferring system thanks to its high capacity.

- Also used in the cleaning section of flour mill for wheat and blending section of the mill.
