Product Description

The BC**0A Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer is a high-precision analytical instrument independently developed by Beijing Beiguang Precision Instrument Co., Ltd. It adopts conductivity difference detection technology, delivering high detection accuracy and short response time. The product complies with national regulations and standards, and meets the online and offline detection requirements for pharmaceutical water, water for injection, ultra-pure water and deionized water.

I. Working Principle

The instrument utilizes ultraviolet oxidation to oxidize organic substances in the sample into carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is measured by the direct conductivity method. Total organic carbon content is determined by calculating the difference between total carbon (TC) in the oxidized sample and total inorganic carbon (TIC) in the unoxidized sample, namely:

Total Organic Carbon (TOC) = Total Carbon (TC) − Total Inorganic Carbon (TIC)
