We, as Veday Madencilik (a mining and construction company formed by a group which has investments on publishing, tourism, medicine, etc), has operating the quarry of "Moon Light" travertine at the city Kutahya ( Qutahia - A city located in central Agea which is close to Afyon, Bursa, Izmir, Istanbul and Antalya ports) on a *6 hectare based licensed area. The mine area was formed by the natural fullfilment of an ancient crater lake. Our stone is completed its formation and don't carry over sand in its structure. It is also good at strenght and available to get bigger sizes. At present we have blocks of 3 m3 to 9 m3 (The total stock in hand is about **0m3). The color is light beige. Altough some of our customer's comment that our stone is as Denizli Light travertine (for its color and view) or as Karaman's travertine (for its strength), we rather prefer to name it "Moon Light". The color is uniform and can have at most two selections as light and darker light. The veins on the blocks are significant and gentle curly which creates an easiness on filling of the surface. The holes on the travertine is rare and at an acceptable size (neither big nor so small). The veins on the stone is colored ligt, bold creamy or light brown that makes the color of the vein cut a degree bolder compared to cross cut. The selection of the cross cut shows us that one can get a color selection of %*0 light beige, %*0 light creamy and %*0 dark creamy/light brown. We are capable of covering all demands for blocks, slabs and tiles. Our prices are competitive. We are also involved in operating and marketing of a rosalia "Spring" beige and a golden "Mocha" beige also. In near future we will start the quarries of "Sunset Red" travertine and "Light of the Bosphorus" Limestone.
