Triple-pass rotary dryers combine the technique of traditional rotary dryer and air flow dryer, With our continuous efforts, our triple-pass rotary dryers have been the global leading product, which can not only process low-viscosity wet materials but also be applicable high-viscosity wet materials. Our products are applicable for the drying process of wet materials with *5%**5% moisture, such as wood chips, sawdust, bamboo chips, wood shavings, barley straw, oat straw, wheat straw, rye straw, rice straw, sorghum straw, corn stalks, corn bran, potato vines, beans stalk and peanut vine. We also help optimize the drying process according to the property of different biomass materials, production scale, application requirements, cost control, automation level and site condition.  





Materials flow:

Crushed materials are delivered to the drum for concurrent drying process through belt conveyor. Wet materials are lifted up and down by the internal flights and pushed through three layers in spiraling pattern, which realizes full heat exchange between cool materials and heated air. The dry materials could pass through the drum quickly under the air force. Wet materials would be dropped gradually and get fully dried to *2% to *5% moisture. The dry materials would be delivered out of the systems through screw conveyor. Inside the drum, there are vibration cleaning device, which could prevent the adhesion between materials and drum surface.



Hot fluid flow:

Cool air is compressed into furnace through blower and heated to **0℃ to **0℃. Then the heated air taken into the drum by draught fan would exchange the heat with wet materials, absorb the moisture and get delivered out of the drum with the temperature reduction of *5℃ to *0℃. The exhaust gas will be dealt with cyclone dust extractor and wet dust extractor, which would eventually meet the exhaustion requirement.



Product Features

1.The technique of triple-pass drum is originally from Germany. The rotary drum is composed of three shells. Wet materials enter into the drum from one end of internal shell, move in the channels between shells and eventually get discharged from the end of outer shell. The total moving distance of wet materials is equal to triple drum length.

5.Because of the triple-pass design, wet materials are separated in the mid-shell and fully contacted with hot air. Heat exchange area is therefore enlarged. The heat efficiency is raised by *0%.  Heat transfer coefficient is twice larger than the single cylinder dryer. 

6.Automatic feeding and discharging. The temperature of exhaust gas is under smart control, based on which the feeding rate is automatically adjusted. On one hand, the moisture of dry materials is kept at certain range; on the other hand, the energy cost can be controlled by this method. 

7.Specialized chamber design ensures the complete combustion of fuels. There are several settling chamber inside of furnace. Ash and other impurities are blocked in the settling chamber, which make sure the cleanliness of hot air.
