Impregnation plants are generally required in electrical industry. These plants are utilized for impregnating coils of LT/HT machines with varnishes or resins. Impregnation process improves the insulation resistance. The process also enhances overall performance of the part or machine in which the impregnated coils are used. Impregnation also increases the component life and hence now it is turning out to be a mandatory process for electrical industry. There are following methods of impregnation: • Dipping Method. • Vacuum Impregnation. • Trickle or Rotary Impregnation.
