Soon after that he joined Pakistan Upper Space and Research Commission (SUPARCO) as Planning Engineer at its Production Plant in March ***5. He got training for manufacturing of precision equipment along with class work for trajectory / projectile engineering. Mr. Munir since is a very practical engineer he preferred to join Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) in March ***6. The work at OGDCL was that of a true practical engineer where he learned a lot in repair and maintenance of drilling rigs, rolling stock, heavy earth moving equipments and allied machinery. He then moved to Middle East (Yemen Arab Republic-YAR) in June ***8 and worked for Yemen Salt Mining and Crushing Company at Al-Saleef port near Hodeida where he was posted as Service Engineer for repair/maintenance of the Company’s salt query equipments, power house, crushing plant, ship loading system and the Tug Boats. In view of his outstanding success in the repair/maintenance field, he was approached by Thehama Development Authority in June ***1 to join their team to head their repair and maintenance department. Thehama Development Authority owned a big fleet of earth moving equipments as they were building earthen dams and distributaries to channelize rain water from the hilly areas in the north to irrigate the Sothern plain plateau of Yemen Arab Republic. The projects were carried out by an International Donor Agency of International Monetary Fund (IMF). Mr. Munir also worked for Highways Authority of YAR for a brief period which possessed a huge fleet of road building and maintenance equipments.

Once back from YAR to home land on *7th December ***3, Mr. Munir was welcome to join Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) where he worked for over *4 years and superannuated on August 8, ***8 as its Chief Engineer
