The model BQ***6/*2 is a newly designed "hydraulic double-chuck rotary peeling lathe" with its own proprietary intellectual property right. This model is specially designed for peeling face & crossband veneers. This model is one of the most advanced veneer lathe in China.
The lathe includes a main motor in which has two steps auto variable power transmission. The knife pitch angle adjusts automatically relative to the progressively reducing diameter of log as being peeled.  The peeling thickness can be set from 0.3 - 3.3 mm. Two hydraulic pistons driven clamp is mounted on both sides to grip the log center frimly and prevent from spinout.
