Membrane Bioreactor(MBR) is a sewage treatment technique which combine the membrane filtration and biological treatment. It is the substitution of the secondary precipitation and sand filter, compare with the conventional activated sludge process, the MBR process have follow merit:
1) good outlet water quality
2) less excess sludge 
3) less site area
The membrane is the core of the MBR, the membrane should have high rupture strength, meanwhile it should own big flux. And our microfiltration membrane own high strength, it is good choice for MBR.
