Pipe Size Screen has the same nominal inside diameter as the corresponding sizes of standard schedule *0 pipe. Pipe Size Screens are attached directly to the well casing to maintain the same diameter for the full depth of well. Telescope Screens are installed by telescoping them through the well casing. The diameters of telescope screens allow them to be lowered freely through the corresponding size of well casing. **4L stainless steel is our standard material for screen construction, but note that **6L material is readily available. Well Screens should be landed adjacent to as much of the aquifer formation as possible. Our Water Well Screens are manufactured with various shaped and sized slots to match the characteristics of the aquifer. The open area of the Screen should be chosen so that water does not enter the well too quickly. This is accomplished by balancing the length and diameter of the screen, and slot sizes of the screen with the desired well yield. A complete inventory of NPT and F**0, both male and female, connections are available. Weld Rings are always an alternative option as well.
