Description: Beeswax (Refined Beeswax, Beeswax Grain) is secreted by *2 to *8 days old worker bee, from wax glands beneath segments six to nine of the abdomen. Beeswax is the” building materials” for honeycomb and sealing the ripened honey. Usages: It is widely used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, fragrant candles, polish, waterproofing and to make foundation comb for beehives. The composition of beeswax is complex, but contains hydrocarbons, straight chain monohydric alcohols, acids, hydroxyl acids, oils and other substances. 1.
