USAGE :
 
1:Used as snow melting salt 
Magnesium chloride is usually used as de-icing salt on roads and parking lots due to the fast de-cing speed and small corrosivity of motorcars . Its overall performance is better than that of NaCl salt.
 
2:Used as oilfield industry 
Magnesium chloride is a commonly used drilling fluid chemical . It can be used to increase the fluid density of completion brines. Also magnesium chloride based drilling fluid can be used to provide inhibition against the waster sensitive clays and shales.
 
3:used as chemical reagent 
Magnesium chloride is also used to produce other magnesium compounds,as well as the raw material of antifreezing agent.
 
4:used as metallury industry 
Magnesium chloride can be used as adhesive during the fireproofing materials , as well as the raw material of magnesium, barium fluxing agent .
 
5:Used for building material production
Magnesium cement can be produced by MgCl2 and MgO. Besides, MgCl2 also can be used to make fireproofing board, door/window frame , floor board......
