Product Description

The Deadline Anchor is a mechanism that converts the deadline tension into hydraulic pressure. It consists of the deadline sheave, base and sensor. The sensor is the signal component of the anchor; this converts the deadline tension into pressure by way of leverage being applied to the compression cell. Hydraulic pressure is, then transferred by way of the hydraulic hose to the weight indicator. The anchor is designed to provide a practical method of securing the dead line and for slipping the line at regular intervals. The weight indicator uses the sensator load cell, installed in the wire line anchor, to sense the hook load via the deadline and transmit it to the weight indicator gauge.
The Wire Line Anchor has a wire line clamp with bronze inserts for specified line sizes. Thewire line is reeved on the drum approximately 3 or 4 wraps to snub the dead line load
before the wire line is passed through the clamp to the reserve reel.
