Description
WP**0 series ultrasonic level transmittersare an intelligent non-contact level measuring instrument, which can be used in bulk chemical, oil, and waste storage tanks, and its ideally suited for challenging corrosive , coating or waste liquids. This transmitter is broadly selected for atmospheric bulk storage, day tank, process vessel and waste sump application. Media: ink, polymer
WP**0 ultrasonic level meter uses sound waves to measure liquid or solid level. Fast, accurate Measurements are possible in the field or anywhere without the use of down-hole water level meters. The Ultrasonic Level Meters are lightweight, compact, versatile, and easy to operate. As long as the obstructions take up no more than half of the bore area the meter will not suffer any loss of accuracy.

Operational priciple:
The level meter is composed with the designed in the integrative ultrasonic wave sensor and electronic unit. The level meter installs on the top of the container, under control of microprocessor, ultrasonic level transmitter launches and receives ultrasonic pulses to the measured medium, and calculates the distance (S) between ultrasonic level transmitter and measured medium by ultrasonic propagation time (t) in the air, due to sonic propagation speed (C) in the air is certain value. So, we can calculate S, according to S=Ct/2. H is the distance from ultrasonic level transmitter to the bottom of container, then the level (h) of measured media is h=H-S.
H: Distance from ultrasonic level transmitter to the bottom of the container
S: Distance from ultrasonic level transmitter to liquid level
h: Actual value of measuring liquid level
