Product Description

PF-XC Biopolymer
PF-XC is a primary viscosifying polymer. An outstanding feature of PF-XC fluids is their excellent shear thinning characteristics. It allows weighing agents to be easily suspended without the need for very high viscosity. It is effective over a wide pH range, from 3 to *2, and also provides some degree of fluid loss control.

APPLICATION
PF-XC is used to obtain high yield points and gels at low plastic viscosity in fresh water, sea water, or saturated brines and is not susceptible to contamination by dissolved ions.

PF-XC is particularly suitable for use in workover and completion fluids and in water-flood operations. It produces a minimum of formation damage. It is completely broken down by acids or oxidizing agents.

PF-XC is compatible with all common mud treating agents.
