XILIA PRESS is a piece of equipment that carries out pressure massage treatments and has been specifically designed to perform a lymph drainage effect by means of special inflatable leg and arm pieces divided into sections. The supply of air from the XILIA PRESS equipment is controlled by a microprocessor that enables the quantity of air and the pressure inside the sections to be modified. In this way a peristaltic compression is achieved which, just like a wave, wraps evenly around the limb from the bottom upwards, encouraging the downflow of blood and lymph and a re-absorption of the liquids from the tissues into the vessels. When the liquids are re-absorbed into the vessels, they bring with them all the waste products that have been retained in the tissues and according to the size of these products they are eliminated either through the blood or lymphatic system. The compression obtained reduces the space between the adipose system and the circulatory system and, as a result, contact is facilitated between the adipose cells and the surrounding substances that are used to metabolise fats. The pressure massage treatments performed by the XILIA PRESS equipment are completely pain-free and very relaxing. Nine treatment programmes are stored in the equipment memory. They have been designed to satisfy the requirements of every client but the parameters can be easily altered as necessary. A practical electronic key known as MEMORY CARD enables any type of programme to be memorized, whether a pre-memorized one or a personalized one, that can be repeated simply by inserting the key in the socket provided.
