Shock absorbers (Vibration Damper), mainly used to suppress the shock of the spring when the shock-absorbing shocks rebound and shock impact from the road.The car go through a rough road, although shock-absorbing spring can filter the shock from the road, but the spring will also have areciprocating movement, and the Vibration Damper is used to suppress such jumping. If the shock absorber is too soft, the car body will be jumping up and down; if the shock absorbers is too hard, it will bring too much resistance and prevent spring from normal work. In the modification on the suspension system, the hard dampers should be matched with stiffer springs, and the hardness of the spring are closely related with the vehicle weight, and therefore heavier vehicles generally use stiffer shock absorbers.
