Product Description

The Amaranth is a natural plant from the high Peruvian Andes cultured since Inca�s times. There are more than 1,**0 varieties of amaranth plants in Peru, the most well known are the Noel Vietmeyer (pink from Cusco) and the Oscas white also from Cusco. The nutritional value of the grain is high and reaches between *2 % and *6 % of proteins. Likewise, the balance of amino acids is ideal, with a good proportion of lysine, methionine and christina.
