Our wood chips consist of Apple wood. These chips are best suited for ground cover away from the house such as unpaved driveways, mulch or compost piles, pathways, or parking areas to keep the weeds and dust down. 

KIC's Apple-wood Chips add a delicate, smoky flavor to your grilled foods. Chips burn more quickly than chunks, so theyre perfect for shorter barbecue cook times.

It is a truly fabulous wood for smoking, sweet and mild in it's nature, compliments most foods, loved by smoking fanatics, never lets down. This is everything you would hope it to be, produces light spark free smoke with excellent coaling quality. Great all rounder, but particularly works best with Pork, beef poultry and fish. It hasn't missed a beat for me yet.
