Biochar:

Biochar is an organic nutrient for plants. It helps retain water, and has microscopic pores which serve as living spaces for Nitrogen producing bacteria, which replenish Nitrogen in the soil daily.


Recommended: Mix 1 to 5 ratio of biochar to soil.


Biochar can improve water quality, reduce soil emissions of greenhouse gases, reduce nutrient leaching, reduce soil acidity, reduce irrigation and fertilizer requirements, and improve plant responses to diseases caused by soilborne pathogens.
