Rotary spherical digester introduction
Rotary spherical digester is the cooking equipment used for palm
oil cooking and paper pulp boiling workshop section. The operating
principle is that medium enters spherical digester through quick-
open cover. The palm is heated by the steam directly in the
spherical digester until it is cooked and softened after a period
of time. The condensate water in the sphere filter through the
filter screen and under the pressure of steam in the spherical
digester, it can be discharged from the drainage valve of the
spherical digester.

Compared with the traditional horizontal digester, this kind of
spherical digester has the following advantages:
With high efficiency, cooking material uniformity and less cooking
time. When cooking the palm fruit, the sphere can swing
intermittently, and make the palm fruit mix uniformity. So it
increased the contact area with steam, reduced the cooking time and
achieves uniform cooking quality.
Less labor intensity, and simple,safe operation. All the workshop
section including the material filling, material discharge and
cooking is in the same container, which is saved the moving time of
traditional horizontal digester. And after the cooking, it avoids
workers pothook and carrying in the digester. When filling and
discharging, the cover is opened and closed quickly by
quick-actuating cover. The start and stop of quick cover is
controlled by the electrical system and equipped the safe
interlocking device.
This kind of digester can reduce the floor space greatly and save
the investment of factory building. Because of less horizontal
digester transporting journey of the material car, the floor space
is only equivalent to 1/4 of the traditional horizontal
digester.

Structure Description
1.This apparatus is the sphere cooking device which winds the axis
whirling , and composes with spherical shell, spindle
head,headstock,driving part,spraying equipment,quick open
dooretc.The system of the spherical digester still needs users to
prepare by oneself dredging water valve, steam escape valve,sphere
steam enter valve,seal mat steam enter valve and other pipeline
valve. The total construction see the spherical digester

2.Spherical shell welds with steel plate, cast steel spindle head
Welding is supported on two main bearings in all ball shell both
ends spheroid weight through the axle head baseboard.The axle head
in the transmission side of spheroiding contains the big sprocket.
Moderating the electro mechanics machine urges the big sprocket
wheel to rotate through the small sprocket (offered by user).
3.The quick open door on the sphere shell.Available for feeding and
pouring the material.
4.There is spraying bend tube in the spheroid,connecting through
the adapter and sealing piecings in the head of stub axle. Water of
condensation while cooking was discharged from here.
5.Sphere surface sliping bearing is made up of casting iron tile
and axle of heart to build etc. Splendid attire oil of cylinder No.
*4 (add the oil line of pure knitting wool) on the ones that stick
axle neck closely on what the bearing is covered. Utilizing the
siphon function of wool pours the oil into axle and tiling to form
Oil film. It can guarantee the slipping bearing running well. The
side of bearing has a hole available for observing.
6.The pipeline Should contain stop valve, non-return valve, safe
valve, and manometer, (self-provided by users), users need to
install hang climbing or support on the pipeline according to the
condition of factory building.
7.The sphere shell should have the heat preservation of light
quality, in order to save the energy and improve the working
environment.
