FROM WASTE TO WEALTH FLEXON-K*4 Flexon K*4 is a mixture of highly active chemicals which can severe sulphur cross links without the assistance of pressure, using simple standard ru7ber mixing machines such as mixing mill, internal mixers, kneaders which provide the necessary mechanical shearing action. It has no effect on the rate of cure or the physical properties of other vulcanisates. Flexon-K*4 is a free flowing yellowish powder which is non-staining and non-acidic in mixture. Flexon-K*4 has a storage stability of one year under normal stroge condition. COLD RECLAIMING OF RUBER SCRAP WITH FLEXON-K*4 SERIES During the moulding of rube3r products, a certain amount of excess compound flows out wehich is known as mould flashes. These flashes which are semi-cured state can be converted into Final compound by using Flexon-K*4 with the process as Explained below. Process:-Ruber Flashes are put on a tight nip mixing mill along with *0gms of Flexon/kg. of the scrap to be processed. The mill is run for about *0 to *5 min, till soft mass without grains is obtained.In some cases sheet may be obtained by adding 8 to *0% oi8l. This is your final processed material. This processed material can be added on to your virgin compound, at the time of adding fillers in your compound up to the extent of *0% to *5% of your batch size.
