Roll Grinding wheel is a specialized form of cylindrical grinding and precision grinding of various kind of rolls. Roll grinding wheels are used in the re-grinding and production grinding of rolls for the Steel, Brass, Copper, Aluminium, Printing paper and textile industries. Most roll grinding wheels are type 1, 5 or 7 ranging from *4" (**5mm) to *2"(***5mm) diameter and 1.1/2(*8mm) to 6"(**0mm) thickness. Also, the bonding material is normally Resin Bonded but some times Vitrified Bonded wheel is used. The general hardness is from "F" to "N" and most common grit size is from *4# to **0# but it depends on the grinding conditions.
