DRIVE-IN RACKING Drive-in racking means the trucks would be driven into the path to pick or load pallets which are placed onto the support rails of the racking system. Compared with pallet racking, drive-in racking system would enlarge the storage units and make full use of warehouse space and suitable for large volume storage by FILO. Components: Frame As drive-in racking is not a comparably stable system for structure, designer has to think more about the whole construction. WAP use killed steel for upright to meet with requests of low temperature. Top and back beams Made with C steels, welded with connectors for easy assembly with upright, top and back beams are designed to strengthen the stability of racking system and limit the places of pallets. Bolts are also used for assembly of beams. Cross bracing Made with flat steel, connected with upright by bolts, cross bracings are design with turning buckle for adjustment according to ensure the frame vertical situation and more stability of racking system. Support rails Made with SS**0 steel rollsï&frac*4; rails are punched with holes for fixing with stub-arms. Pallets stored would be placed on the rails. Stub-arms Made with SS**0 steel rolls by moldsï&frac*4;welded with connectors for easy assembly with uprights, stub-arms would be fixed by bolts for safety and stability. Support rails would be assembled and placed onto the stub-arms. Protector Installed at the beginning of each row of frames by chemical anchor bolts, protectors would help the racking system to avoid the bumping of trucks. Guide rails Installed under the frame or on both sides of frame, guide rails would protect the racking system from bumping of trucks and would guide the trucks as standards routes to improve the picking efficiency.
