Description

New Tone FL New Tone FL is a solvent based printing ink, designed for flexographic printing on treated polyolefin film. New Tone FL can also be used for lamination. New Tone FL is based on high quality nitrocellulose and selected binders and available in white and wide range of colors. New Tone FL has good printing properties when printing halftone as well as full tone. New Tone FL series are free off any additives or fillers which affect Anilox and Cyril in case of Flexography printing machine. Main characteristics: Transparent. Good adhesion properties. Low solvent retention. Good printability. High water resistance. High gloss level. Suitable for lamination. Recommend surface: Suitable to be applied on PET , AL foil , Paper and Most treated Polyolefin films, ***** OPP , LDPE, LLDPE and Cellophane. Reducer solvent: Ethyl acetate or a mixture of *0% ethyl acetate: *0% isopropyl alcohol, for slow drying use *0% of methoxy propanol aid to the reducer solvent. Viscosity adjustment: Viscosity should be measured after stirring the ink in the printing machine, printing viscosity is ****5 sec/ ford cup 4 at *5 ºC. Information on processing: New Tone FL inks may be used at press speed of *0 â **0 m/min using the appropriate reducer , a key temperature of *5 â *0 ºC (web ) is normally sufficient to achieve adhesion to heat sensitive polyolefin films and this temperature may be varied according to substrates , press speed and press conditions. New Tone FL inks can be laminated and the bond strength depends on the type of substrate, the adhesive and application condition. To get the best result of lamination you should add 3% of Catalyst AD*5. In case of surface printing you should add 3% of antiscratch**0 and 3 % of Catalyst AD*5 to the liquid ink before printing process.
