How to set-up system with 8/1 or *6/1 switch? Make sure that your receiver supports DiSEqC 1.1 or DiSEqC 1.2. If possible, check before purchase that your receiver has been tested with chosen switch. There have been observed compatibility issues with some types of satellite receivers. If DiSEqC 1.1 is available, check allowed range of parameter "uncommitted" If "uncommitted" can be set to full number of inputs (8 or *6), set configuration switch DIP1 to ON and DIP2 to OFF; in receiver's menu assign "uncommitted" parameter for each LNB to number of used input If "uncommitted" parameter is limited to number 4, set configuration switch DIP1 to OFF and DIP2 to ON; in receiver's menu assign "uncommitted" and "committed" parameter according to the table If DiSEqC 1.1 is unavailable, set configuration switch DIP1 to ON and DIP2 to ON, than enter procedure for setting up DiSEqC motor, following user's manual to your receiver
