We were forced to write you regarding this subject
because we are having one of the latest technologies related to
metal powders. We manufacture metal powders from cold drawn wires
with virgin material properties.
It has been observed that aluminium oxide powder is
the most widely used in blast finishing and surface preparation due
to soft, lightweight, ductile & malleable metal with appearance
looks like dull / matt grey finish on components. But it has uneven
angular shape, un-durable blasting abrasive, un-recycled property,
low longevity, low hardness (***0 mpa- **7 kg/mm2), low density
(2.***3.*9 gm/cc), and most of the important is higher purchase
cost (app. Rs. **0/- per kg.). Due to angular / uneven shape, the
surface of blasted components get create high roughness (Ra value)
and also caused of high consumption of surface coatings like paints
in further operations. Aluminium has about one-third the density
and stiffness of steels and less corrosion resistance due to react
when the metal is exposed to air. Aluminium is a stronger reducing
agent then steel / stainless steel.
We are introducing steel & stainless steel
powder in all grades & alloy compositions to replace
the older methods of blast finishing & surface preparation of
any type of components. The steel & stainless steel powders are
available in all sizes as required by end users. It is also
available in soft / hard nature depends on required applications
with appearance looks like bright / silvery finish on components.
It has also available in even shape, durable abrasive, recycled
property, high longevity, higher hardness (***0 mpa- **5 kg/mm2
& above), high density (7.8 gm/cc), and most of the important
is lower purchase cost (app. Rs. **5/- per kg.). Due to even shape,
the surface of blasted components get low roughness (Ra value) with
smooth finish and also beneficial for low consumption of surface
coating like paints in further operations. Stainless steel powder
is the stronger corrosion resistance agent due to chromium &
nickel elements.
