EVI air source heat pump is a new technology of heat pump. Designed for cold weather place such as **5 celsius. At very cold weather condition, in order to drop to enough low temperature, the refrigerant cycle flow will get very small, but when the small flow refrigerant gas go into compressor, after compressed, it's temperature will increase rapidly and too much, so the exhaust gas temperature of compressor will be too high, the too high temperature will damage compressor. But EVI techonolgy will sove the problem. We can see from it's diagram, there will be a part of refrigerant go into compressor to compensate the return gas from evaporator, so that refrigerant will not get too high. So heat pump can work normally at low temperature condition.
